Empire auctions started out as a familly business that has become in the last 25 years one of the leading and most successful auction houses in Canada.  Founded by Abe and Barbara Rogozinsky as a collectibles business, buying and selling rare stamps, coins, gold and silver bullion, jewellery and pocket watches.  Collector and buyer demand grew due to the quality of merchandise and service offered.  The natural extension of this business was to conduct auction sales to further serve Empire's growing clientelle.  The firm expanded to include in auction Canadian, American and European art, fine furniture, antiques, fine household articles, rare automobiles, real estate, and all other works of art and desire objects.  Today, Empire's staff includes knowledgeable professionals in the fields of art and furniture, trained gemmologists, numismatists, philatelists, and experts in other fields as well.
